How do I install cPanel on my VPS?
You do not need to install it yourself. Deploy a Linux virtual server from the ColossusCloud control panel and select the "Install cPanel" option. Your server will be ready with cPanel preinstalled within minutes, and the login URL will appear in your dashboard.
Is cPanel included in the VPS price?
No. cPanel requires a separate commercial license. The license cost depends on the tier you choose (Solo, Admin, Pro, or Premier) and is billed monthly on top of your VPS plan.
What VPS plan do you recommend for cPanel?
We recommend a virtual server with at least 4 GB of RAM for smooth cPanel performance. For hosting multiple websites, consider a plan with more RAM and storage.
How many websites can I host with cPanel?
This is your own private cPanel installation, so there are no artificial limits. The number of websites depends on the cPanel license tier you choose: Solo supports 1 account, Admin supports up to 5, Pro supports up to 30, and Premier supports up to 100 with additional accounts available at $0.49 each.
Can you migrate my existing cPanel server?
