Frequently asked questions

How do I install cPanel?

You don't! We automatically do that for you. Just deploy a Linux virtual server from ColossusCloud's Client Portal version 6, and click on the "Install cPanel" option. Soon after, a Linux virtual server will be ready with cPanel already in it. The URL to log in to cPanel will appear in our Client Portal.

Is cPanel free?

No. There is no such thing. cPanel licenses are commercial and incur a cost. Any host that advertises cPanel for "free" will find a way to charge you for it in some other way, or, their prices are much higher than ours.

Which package do you recommend for cPanel?

We recommend a virtual server hosting plan with at least 4GBs of RAM.

How many domains can I host?

This would be your own, private cPanel installation. There are no limitations. You establish the limitations to your customers. Be aware though that the price of cPanel increases as you host more websites in it.

Can you migrate my cPanel?

Yes we can. The cost of the migration would depend on how many websites there are and the amount of time the migration will take.
